Recycled Cooking Oil, Not Just for the Birds

If you are deep frying turkey this Thanksgiving, don’t throw out your cooking oil. It can be used as a fuel source for oil-burning furnaces! The Clermont County Fleet Maintenance Garage is accepting all containers of used motor oil, hydraulic fluid, brake fluid, transmission fluid, AND used vegetable oil at 4000 Filager Road (off Rt. 222) in Batavia, from 8:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.
