Office Depot Offers Electronics Recycling

Following a successful pilot program at a hundred of its stores, Office Depot (Delray Beach, Florida) will be offering recycling for end-of-life technology at each of the company's 1,186 North American locations. Intechra (Jackson, Mississippi) will be the e-scrap processor for the program.

Consumers interested in recycling e-scrap are directed to purchase an appropriate-sized Tech Recycling Box at any Office Depot retail location. Boxes are priced a $5 for a small box, $10 for a medium-sized box and $15 for a large Tech Recycling box. After filling the boxes with unwanted electronics, consumers can bring them back to any Office Depot location, where company representatives will then seal and ship the box for no additional charge.

Details about the program — and a full list of accepted items — are available online.
